Homeschool Club

Fall 2017 Homeschool Club – For nature lovers and future biologists!

Homeschoolers in the Savannah area, come join us for hands-on environmental education classes!  Our classes are taught by enthusiastic educators who love to share their love of science and nature.  The Fall 2017 session meets twice a month on Fridays from 11am-12:45pm.  There are a total of 6 classes.  Students are divided into different groups by age.

Classes meet on November 10 & 17, December 8 & 15, and January 19 & 26.

November 10

Beach Seining

November 17

Sea Turtles

December 8

Marsh Ecology

December 15

Birds and Pollution Solution

January 19

Marine Invertebrats

January 26

The total charge per student is $60 for the 8 classes. The full amount is due even if you know you will miss a class; there are no makeup classes.  Parents and siblings younger than 4 years old are not charged.  To sign up you must complete the online registration form and mail a check for $60 per child to the address below (please include your child(ren)'s name on the check).  Classes fill quickly and then you will be put on a waiting list.  Your payment will be refunded if you are put on the waiting list and are unable to join the class.

Parents attend classes with their child (this is not a drop off class).  If you have children in different age groups, you may choose which group to go with or switch between the two.  The different groups often stay close to each other and take the same class on the same day.  You may also request that all of your children stay in the same group.
