Burton 4-H Center
The Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island reaches more than 8,000 students and adults through our Environmental Education and Summer Camp programs. Our Environmental Education Program provides biological and environmental education opportunities for school groups, while Summer Camp provides Georgia 4-H agents and campers an unforgettable 5-day learning adventure.
Fall 2015 Homeschool Club
Homeschoolers in the Savannah area, come join us for hands-on environmental education classes! Our classes are taught by enthusiastic educators who love to share their love of science and nature. We take advantage of our beautiful location on Tybee Island to lead field study courses at the beach, marsh, maritime forest (at Fort Pulaski trails) and our classrooms at the 4-H Center. Fall 2015 Homeschool Days
An Environmental Education field study designed specifically for homeschoolers. Bring your family to the beach for an educational vacation at a great value. Our environmental education program teaches over 7,000 students a year for over twenty years. Public Camping on Tybee Island
There is no public camping at the Burton 4-H Center. The Burton 4-H Center is private property. The only public camping on Tybee Island is at River's End Campground.
Facility Rentals for Girl/Boy Scouts, School or Church Groups, etc.
Your group can rent our dormitories or classroom space for a trip or conference on Tybee Island. You can also register for our hands-on environmental education classes or have food service in our dining hall. For more information, visit our Facilities and Rentals webpage.
