Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island

The Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island reaches more than 8,000 students and adults through our Environmental Education and Summer Camp programs. Our Environmental Education Program provides biological and environmental education opportunities for school groups, while Summer Camp provides Georgia 4-H agents and campers an unforgettable 5-day learning adventure.

All of the forms below (Day Camp application, Medical Release form and Code of Conduct) must be filled out and either mailed or faxed to us along with a non-refundable deposit to complete your registration for Day Camp. You may pay for Day Camp online by credit card with this link (a 5% fee will be added to your registration when using a credit card). You cannot complete your registration online for summer camp--only pay for Day Camp with a credit card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call 912-786-5534.

Homeschool Club Fall 2013

Twice monthly classes for homeschoolers in the Savannah area. September 13 – December 6. Classes on Friday 10:30 – 12:00. Open to age 4-13. 7 classes. Cost is $58 per child. Click for more information.

Homeschool Days Fall 2013

An overnight Environmental Education field study designed specifically for homeschoolers. We have reserved space during these days exclusively for individual homeschool families to sign up directly with us. There are four different sessions: September 11-13, 16-18, 23-25 and November 25-26.

Facility Rentals for Girl/Boy Scouts, School or Church Groups, etc.

Your group can rent our dormitories or classroom space for a trip or conference on Tybee Island. You can also register for our hands-on environmental education classes or have food service in our dining hall. Click here for more information.
